Any application received by DBPR February 12, 2008, or later will require that the applicant have a credit score of 660 or better, or must have a bond or irrevocable letter of credit for $20,000 or $10,000, depending on license type. Fifty percent of the bond or letter of credit can be met by attending a Board-approved, 14-hour financial responsibility course.
