To-Do Lists Options for Contractors

To-do lists never go out of style. Without a to-do list, how would you keep everything you have to do straight in a day, week, or month? To-do lists help keep you organized and hold you accountable for all your tasks.

Every person prefers to keep these lists in different ways – there is no right or wrong way, as long as it helps you. However, as technology continues to improve, there are a lot of new things out there that can help you stay organized.

  • Pen and paper – Let’s start with something that’s been around for centuries. Writing down your to-do’s on a list works great as long a you can stay organized. Keep them in a notebook.
  • Trello – Trello is an app that allows you to compartmentalize your lists. There is a free plan or a business class plan for $9.99 per month
  • Planners – Microsoft planner is an example of a planner that lets you have a digital planner and shares your list.
  • MeisterTask – This app is similar to Trello in that it uses boards to keep your organized. You can see all your tasks from all projects.

Make your to-do list the night before you want to do it. A good way to stay organized without feeling too overwhelmed is to segment your to-do’s, so they’re no one huge task.
